At the celebration of the 2022 National Maritime Day, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, the Coordinating Minister for Marine Affairs and Investment, expressed optimism that Indonesia will become the global center of marine civilization. Indonesia once had great maritime success, thus the minister hopes that the country will improve marine development.
Indonesia can develop its maritime economy through political, cultural, and economic means. To properly evaluate and utilize the maritime economy's potential for the good of all, a financial plan was put into place.
